A supermarket conveyor belt earns its place where a queue forms, because the separation bar lets the cashier scan for one shopper while the next is still unloading. Most of the counters on our records land on an 850 mm worktop — it is the height we build most often, not a fixed rule. Length and depth follow your lane rather than a catalogue size, so send those dimensions with your enquiry and we draw to them.

We do not publish a checkout counter price, because a lane with a belt and a lane without one are different machines. Yes. Cashier counter designs are drawn to the plan you send rather than picked from a page, and an L shaped or U shaped front end is ordinary work here. A CAD file, a dimensioned sketch or a photograph of a store you like is enough to start a drawing.

Counters ship assembled in a standard wooden export case. The fittings you ordered, such as the bag holder, keyboard tray, hooks and screen cover, are fitted before packing, and the cashier stand module travels with the counter it belongs to. Loading quantity depends on the sizes on the order and is confirmed with the packing list.

Cash wrap, cash desk, till point and checkout lane all describe the same fixture. In North America cash wrap counter is the common trade term; in the UK it is usually the checkout or till. We build to whichever name your drawing uses — the dimension that matters is the 850 mm worktop height.

850 mm at the worktop is the height we build most often, set so a standing cashier works without stooping. It is not fixed, though — tell us if your store needs a different worktop height and we draw to it. What actually varies most between orders is lane length, which we size to your floor plan rather than a fixed list.
